In Poland, the CATI technique is becoming increasingly popular, and the number of professional CATI studio is steadily growing. According to estimates, there are currently about 20 CATI studio in Poland, which specialize only in carrying out a range of survey types. Typically, companies use telephone surveys to obtain information on the views of their customers and consumers about a particular product or service.
In recent years, the number of CATI surveys conducted has increased due to the rapid development of e-commerce, which in turn has reduced the cost of its execution. According to the Central Statistical Office’s data for 2020, more than 3.2 million telephone surveys were conducted in Poland. This is a rapidly growing number compared to the 2.2 million surveys conducted in 2019. Most of these surveys centered around the close relationship between the customer and the brand, as well as around inquiries about satisfaction with a product or service.
The conclusion of the above states that telephone surveys allow companies not only to obtain very valuable and specific data about their product or service, but also to support their cooperation with customers. There is a clear increase in the number of CATI surveys conducted, and the popularity of this technique is growing as market competitiveness increases.
