Early Detection
We identify weak signals before they become mainstream — giving you a first-mover advantage.
Identify emerging consumer behaviours, values, and preferences before they reshape your category
Trends don’t announce themselves. They start as weak signals — a shift in social media conversation, a niche product gaining traction, a behavioural change among early adopters. By the time a trend is obvious, it’s too late to capitalise. Consumer trends research identifies these signals early, validates them with data, and assesses their commercial relevance for your business.
Three layers of trend intelligence. Macro-trends (societal shifts that reshape entire markets: sustainability, health consciousness, digitalisation, value polarisation), micro-trends (category-specific shifts: plant-based protein growth, subscription fatigue, hyper-personalisation), and emerging signals (early-stage behaviours not yet visible in mainstream data: community-based commerce, AI-assisted purchasing, sensory maximalism).
Our mixed-method approach. We combine desk research (social media listening, trend reports, academic publications), ethnographic observation (real-world behaviour among early adopters), online communities (immersive exploration with trend-forward consumers), and quantitative validation (survey measurement of trend awareness and adoption across mainstream population segments).
From trend to strategy. We don’t just identify trends — we assess commercial relevance. Which trends will impact your category? How fast are they moving? Which consumer segments are leading? What product, communication, or distribution opportunities do they create? Our trend reports include a trend impact matrix mapping each identified trend against your specific business priorities.
Continuous trend monitoring. One-time trend studies provide a snapshot. Continuous trend monitoring (quarterly or semi-annual) tracks trend acceleration, deceleration, and mainstream adoption — giving your innovation and strategy teams an early warning system.

We identify weak signals before they become mainstream — giving you a first-mover advantage.
We assess which trends matter for your specific category and business priorities.
Social listening + ethnography + quantitative validation = trends you can trust.
Trend impact matrices and opportunity maps — not just a list of “what’s cool.”
We define the category, consumer segments, and trend layers (macro/micro/emerging) to investigate.
We scan social media, trend databases, early adopter communities, and industry sources for emerging signals.
We explore identified trends through ethnography, online communities, and expert conversations.
We survey mainstream consumers to measure trend awareness, adoption, and segment penetration.
Macro-trends can be tracked 3–5 years ahead. Micro-trends 1–2 years. Emerging signals are early-stage — they may or may not mainstream.
One-time trend studies from PLN 20,000. Continuous monitoring from PLN 10,000/quarter.
We triangulate: social listening data + ethnographic observation + quantitative survey. If all three confirm, the trend is validated.
Through a mixed-method approach: social listening and desk research for emerging signals, ethnography and online communities for micro-trends, expert interviews for macro-trends, and consumer surveys for mainstream validation.
A fad is short-lived and driven by novelty. A trend reflects a structural shift in consumer behaviour, values, or technology adoption that sustains over 3–5+ years.
Quarterly monitoring is recommended for fast-moving categories (FMCG, fashion, tech). Semi-annual updates work for slower sectors. Annual deep-dives provide strategic context.
