Nationwide Coverage
We conduct research among consumers and businesses across all of Poland — urban and rural areas alike.
The energy transition is reshaping markets. Our research helps energy companies and renewable energy providers understand what consumers and businesses truly need — and how to reach them effectively.
Energy market research encompasses projects covering the entire energy sector — from conventional energy utilities through renewable energy sources (RES) to prosumers and new energy consumption models. These studies analyze consumer attitudes and behaviors toward energy suppliers, readiness to adopt green technologies, satisfaction with energy services, and decision factors in choosing solutions such as photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, and energy storage.
Poland’s energy sector is undergoing profound transformation driven by EU climate policy, rising energy prices, and regulatory changes. Poland is one of Europe’s largest photovoltaic markets — the number of prosumers has exceeded one million, and installed PV capacity grows year over year. Simultaneously, the coal-based energy system faces decarbonization challenges, creating enormous demand for data on social attitudes, investment readiness, and technology adoption barriers.
Typical energy sector research projects include: attitudes toward renewable energy and investment readiness studies (photovoltaics, heat pumps, energy storage), energy utility customer satisfaction research, supplier switching analysis, concept testing for new tariffs and offers (dynamic pricing, prosumer packages), awareness research on government incentive programs, and energy brand image monitoring.
Methodologically, energy research must account for audience diversity — from individual households to large industrial enterprises. The most effective methods are: CATI (household surveys — effective for reaching older demographics and smaller towns), CAWI (online surveys among prosumers and digitally active consumers), IDI with B2B decision-makers (energy company executives, sustainability directors), and desk research (analysis of regulatory authority data, industry reports, and market statistics).
A challenge in energy research is topic complexity — many consumers don’t understand tariff mechanisms, prosumer billing, or the differences between energy sources. This requires careful questionnaire design that doesn’t impose knowledge while still collecting useful data. Additionally, rapidly changing regulations (e.g., renewable energy law amendments, net-billing changes) mean research findings can lose relevance quickly.
